In this world we call Earth, God has established three institutions, Family, Government, the Church. It is through these God ordained institutions that He desired to work out His will for mankind. But as you will see, because man has desired to “Go his own way and do what is right in his own eyes”, that these institutions and sub-institutions under them are pretty much failing, thus fulfilling prophecy for the “End Times”. Then God will start all over again.
As you read, you will see common themes, such as these. Jesus said, there are only two commandments to follow, which sum up the ten. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind and others as yourself”. Paul often talked about the Spirit (grace) of the Law and the Letter (obedience) of the Law and how important these two must fit together to make a whole.
Leaders are to be exemplary, a model to those they lead. True leaders do not abuse their position of authority, but rightly judge as God would, fairly and justly. Sadly, this is not the way of American leaders today, due to these 4 main reasons: Money – Power – Ego -No Accountability. Therefore the Lords two commandments have fallen by the wayside. PREFACE:
This book came about for several reasons. For one it started out as one of my many articles that I love to write. The subject this time being, “GROWTH COMES FROM THE INSIDE OUT“. But God changed all that and told me to write a book. I tend to write free style. I just let it FLOW. Meaning I do not do much research or organizing, (unless warranted, for bible verses, stats, pics, facts) I tend to automatically think and write once my fingers hit the key board. Same with music, I already know and feel what is INSIDE OF ME. I have lots of life experiences to verify my outlook. I have a GOD VIEW not a WORLD VIEW. You will notice as you read it’s ALL inside of us. Ultimate growth and effectiveness starts from the inside out.
It started with one word I had looked up to verify it’s meaning, NUCLEUS. And as I was reading a one sentence description of the word, I automatically and metaphorically saw the connection of a trinity symbol. We are three part beings. This will be explained more in the first chapter. The word Trinity means UNITY. I feel it is the lack of UNITY that has caused many failings in America that frankly most countries do not have. Because we are such a materialist and image conscience society, we sadly lack in empathy and compassion, because overall we are not really others and God conscience. (Matt 22:37-39.)
1 Tim 3 says, that in the last days (I believe we are) people with be lovers of self, money, proud, disobedient, drunkards, pleasures of the flesh, and just about every sin you can think of. As prophecy unfolds we know it will not get better, that is a given. Thing is, what can we do in the mean time to do our part to at least make our COMMUNITIES better and safer? Make our families better, our churches better, our business better, our schools better and our judicial system? There are answers, but it will take a collective community to make it happen.
They always say, if you want to be a writer, write what you know. And if there is one I thing I know more than most, it is what real ABUSE looks like. Funny how all abusers start with the letter P…
Parents, Peers, Partners, Pastors, Priests, Police, Public Defenders, Physiologist/Psychiatrist, Politicians. Did I forget one? Oh yeah, how about just PEOPLE and POPULOUS…Wow.
I also know the bible better than most. Like Muhammad Ali said it best, “It’s not bragging if it’s true.” I give credit where credit is due. God of course has giving me the upbringing I had, and as horrible as it was, God is using it. He’s given me a “Paul temperament ESTJ,” and other famous leaders, so I have wisdom, I’ve always had common sense, and I do not lie. I hate lying and hypocrisy. I was taught under an amazing pastor who not only preached sound doctrine, (he majored in hermeneutics) but he and his wife lived out the bible as well, along with others in my first church 35 years ago. So I have lots of experience, knowledge and wisdom. I write as I tend to see things according to God’s word and what I feel is reality, not wishful thinking.
I would like to think that I and others that we are bringing “Common Sense” back to America.
People ask me, “What Do You Write About.” and I reply, “TRUTH, LOVE, BALANCE and ACCOUNTABILITY”. Much needed qualities in America today. Godly qualities we have gradually lost over the years. It is my hope and desire that the truths found in this book and more to come will help us be better American’s.
